Our thanks to Bishop Alan for taking the time to make his first visit to Stowmarket parish. We particularly appreciated the time he spent getting to know not just the members of the Finance Committee, the Parish Council and the Catechists but all the parishioners who came to Mass this weekend – and the children in particular.
By the end of his little talk all the children were able to tell us that a bishop is an apostle, a shepherd, and a teacher.
So just as well that some of us adults were listening, too…
